• Topics covered: This course will equip your team to handle the following topics with confidence: First-aid basics, medical emergencies (including heart attack and stroke), injury emergencies (including severe bleeding), preventing injury and illness, cardiac arrest CPR and AED use, handling choking, responding to a drowning situation, opioid overdose and more. 
• Class description: This class will be held at your organization's location. All key concepts are thoroughly covered and there will be time to ask questions. Different learner styles will be accommodated. We'll be using modern, sanitized manikins (adult and infant) as well as practicing with real bandage and gauze pads on simulation wounds. All the equipment is provided. The course includes video content, instructor demonstrations and hands-on practice.
