Comprehensive training in caring for a person with life-threatening bleeding. American Red Cross certified course.

• Topics covered: This thorough course which will equip you to recognize that a bleeding emergency exists and take emergency action steps while communicating effectively and keeping yourself - and others - safe in potentially changeable situations.
• Class description: FAST is the first national STOP THE BLEED® course designed specifically for high school students, but anyone can take the course and benefit from the training. Providing lots of time for questions along the way, we'll be using manikins as well as practicing with real bandage and gauze pads on simulation wounds (we provide all the equipment needed). The course includes video content and hands-on practice. This class may require kneeling on the floor (on cushion pads) and moderate bending and movement.
