- Topics covered: More than 6 Million people have learned how to STOP THE BLEED®. You can, too! This class includes a lecture portion and hands-on training. By the end of the class, you will know how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and how to apply a tourniquet and hemostatic dressing to slow or stop the bleeding.
- Class description: Using trauma training limbs, the course includes video content and hands-on practice of dressing wounds and identifying and stopping life-threatening bleeding before 911 responders are on the scene. Per the Stop the Bleed Coalition: "Receive proper training so you can be an “immediate responder” to help someone who is experiencing traumatic bleeding. Be ready to save the life of a family member, a friend, a colleague or a perfect stranger. The Coalition’s STOP THE BLEED® course combines clinical training with practical information and access to additional STOP THE BLEED® resources for you or your organization."
